The Art of Design presented by EFFEN® Vodka is a unique series of events in Denver, Las Vegas, Chicago & Milwaukee. An exhibition of Hurricane Katrina and Rita related artwork by Louisiana artists Karen Edmunds and Mary Perrin is currently on view at the Hiram Van Gordon Gallery at Tennessee State University. On November 9, in conjunction with the exhibition, the two artists presented a multi-media performance at TSUs Avon Williams Campus Auditorium. The event was organized by Jodi Hays, Director, Hiram Van Gordon Gallery at Tennessee State University.

Last February FTH hosted an art event in a cosy familiar place to showcase contemporary artwork. Due to it’s sucess FTH present Autumn Art Auction at the Adelphi in Leeds on Friday 9th November 2007. At the event contemporary artists will be submitting work for sale.

This is both an opportunity for the submitting artists to generate interest in the work they create; and for the public to view and purchase high quality, original artwork from emerging and established artists.

Members of the public are invited to bid on items as a way of engaging with the work as well as picking up some bargains! There will be numerous lots on the night, to show the huge diversity of work available.

The auction will be held at the Adelphi – a pub that has a long-standing relationship with the art community.

You can even place reserve bids on any of the work that takes your fancy!
